We used during our Leapday Playday.
Note: It's hard to find the Export link once you have assembled your avatar.
That's because EXPORT is hiding on the far right side in the list of links under Yahoo! Avatars.
It's the fourth link down in a list of five. Keep looking. Yup. It's really there.

Nancy - I took the test, got a 29. Don't know if that's good or bad :) It would
be nice to know which I got right. kw
Well, I took the test, and since I only recognized two of the words for sure,
I thought it must be a trick. I marked them all as Web 2.0, and I scored 23!
I guess that means twenty of them were Star Wars, but which ones? -MJJ
I got a 26. I recognized several words that were Star Wars for sure and one or two that were Web 2.0. MCJ
I have no idea. I got a 22! -The Lady in Red
What did you play with during our Leapday Playday? Ribit.

What did you learn about the tools you tried?
Mary - PB Wiki (I'm still playing with that), Google Reader (I want to set this up for sure), Flickr (a great source for copyright-free photos for presentations and such).
The Other Mary - Wow - I erased everything here! Pheww..... I had written that I did start a blog for my family, but that I was having trouble getting my avatar attached to this playground. I actually put her in time out because she was being a little pushy with the other avatars (especially British Barbie!). Then I tried something else. All of the sudden there was nothing else except her. She is a dangerous little thing! Obviously, I was able to restore this site to where it was before that wicked little thing got to playing around!
Nancy - Edublogs, Scrapblog, and now - Yahoo Avatars --too much fun!
Delores -
Jill -
Kathy - I learned that in the approximately 20 months that I have been retired, technology has PASSED me by. I have added 4 feeds (correct terminology?). Baby steps….
Lori - I learned more about online photo sharing, google notebook, and Avatars. I really loved the Scrapblog site and Shutterfly.
Linda -
Kay - I learned a million new terms, and I'm VERY glad to have the handout. It is SO HARD to keep up, and, luckily, we all have Mary to keep us smart and current! I also learned that I am a very attractive, sultry, VA-VA-VA-VOOM blond (see avatar above).

NOTICE FROM MARY!!!!
Join Women of the Web 2.0 this Tuesday evening, March 4 (7 p.m. mountain time), for a streaming chat with my library/technology heroes--Joyce Valenza and Doug Johnson. My guess is that there will lots of discussion about Web 2.0, along with other issues in school libraries and technology. You can be lurkers or participants; it's your choice! The link to join the chat is on the upper right of the WOW2 Web site. If you have never participated in a professional chat, this might be a good time to dip your toes in the water.
March 5 follow-up--I logged onto the Women of the Web 2.0 chat last night about ten minutes into the session, and it was already going full steam. I finally got the sound to come through in iTunes and the chat scroll in the streaming service called EdTechTalk used by Women of the Web 2.0 for their Tuesday night chats. There were over seventy people participating, and it was quite a challenge just to keep up with all the typed-in messages that scrolled by faster than I could read them all. Add to that the fascinating conversations with Joyce and Doug, and it was really a stimulating hour. I need some time to process the experience, and I'm going to use some of the links provided by Doug Johnson on his Blue Skunk Blog to read reactions from other people who participated. I think the entire "show" will be archived tomorrow from the Women of the Web 2.0 wiki, which is great since it is filled with valuable links.
