WebTools4u2use
This wiki was created for school library media specialists by Dr. Donna Baumbach and Dr. Judy Lee, University of Central Florida. The purpose is to provide information about Web 2.0 tools and how they can be used and are being used by school library media specialists and their students and teachers. Much of the information--including identifying a need for this kind of information--is the result of a survey conducted in 2008 of over 600 school library media specialists about their knowledge and use of web-based tools in library media programs. It has a fun homepage! Prepare to be overwhelmed.

While reading up on citizen journalism, I (Madame Librarian) ran across a Web 2.0 app something like YouTube that offers free user-generated, how-to videos for consumers.
Need an example? Take a look at "How to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day Like an Irishman."
Adobe Photoshop Express
This free web-based version of Adobe Photoshop includes 2 GB of space to store your creations, direct links to Facebook and a dynamic gallery for displaying your creations.
Take a look at the album named "My India" for some absolutely gorgeous photographs! I had to update my Adobe Flash version first. Next I chose "Browse Album" (not "Browse Galleries").

WOW! Someone put a lot of time and work into this Wiki. I did learn a new word "portmanteau." I wonder how many times I can use it in conversation today :)
